What is the difference between PV1-F single-core ... - KUKA Cable
There is only one wire in the insulating layer of the PV1-F single-core cable. Advantages: strong tensile strength, not easy to break, easy to thread, and good stability. Disadvantages: poor heat dissipation, poor flexibility, and poor bending resistance.
Shenxing Cable are exported all over the world and different industries with quality first. Our belief is to provide our customers with more and better high value-added products. Let's create a better future together.
There are two or multiple conductors in the insulating layer of the PV1-F twin solar cable. Advantages: good flexibility, better heat dissipation, good skin resistance, strong load capacity, disadvantages: poor tensile strength, easy to mold and break, and joints need to be handled good.
What is the difference between PV1-F single-core cable and PV1-F twin solar cable?
1. The PV1-F single-core cable has strong tensile strength. It should be more convenient in line joints and equipment wiring, while the PV1-F twin solar cable is softer. It is suitable for lines with multiple bends and can be bent better without breaking.
2. The PV1-F twin solar cable is soft and easy to construct, not easy to damage, and is suitable for PV1-F twin solar cable, while the PV1-F single-core cable is harder and easy to fix.
3. For long-distance wiring, PV1-F single-core cable should be used. The strength of PV1-F single-core cable is high to ensure that it will not be broken.
4. In the case of the same cross-sectional area, the current carrying capacity of the PV1-F twin solar cable is higher than that of the PV1-F single-core cable, and the higher the frequency, the more obvious. Because the current has a skin effect, it travels on the surface of the conductor. The multi-core has a larger unfolding surface area, so the current carrying capacity is larger, and the heat dissipation performance is also better, but the multi-core is more expensive.

What is the difference of Solar PV Cable PV1-F and H1Z2Z2-K ...
Our photovoltaic (PV) cables are intended for interconnecting power supplies within renewable energy photovoltaic systems such as solar panel arrays in solar energy farms. These solar panel cables are suitable for fixed installations, both internal and external, and within conduits or systems, but not for direct burial applications.
Manufactured against the latest European Standard EN and with the harmonised designation H1Z2Z2-K, these Solar DC Cable are specified cables for use in Photovoltaic (PV) systems, and in particular those for installation at Direct Current (DC) side with a nominal DC voltage of up to 1.5kV between conductors as well as between conductor and earth, and not exceeding V. EN requires cables to be low smoke zero halogen and be flexible tin-coated copper conductors with a single core and cross-linked insulation and sheath. Cables are required to be tested at a voltage of 11kV AC 50Hz and have an operating temperature range of -40oC to +90oC. H1Z2Z2-K supersedes the previous TÜV approved PV1-F cable.
The compounds used in these solar cable’s insulation and outersheath are halogen free cross-linked, hence the reference to these cables as “cross-linked solar power cables”. The EN standard sheathing has a thicker wall than the PV1-F cable version.
As with the TÜV PV1-F cable, the EN cable benefits from a double-insulation offering increased safety. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) insulation and sheathing makes them suitable for use in environments where corrosive smoke would present a risk to human life in the event of fire.
